The Allendale Bunkhouse is owned and managed by Linda Beck. The company was formed in 2009 (originally as Becks Training Ltd and based at Deneholme) and bought the former “Dale Hotel” in 2014.
The Allendale Bunkhouse was the first project to be completely refurbished, followed by the Dale Cottage, the Dale Townhouse and, in 2019, the Dale Manor. These 4 properties form what is now “Dale Holidays”.
Dale Holidays is a small family run business, which is proud of its friendly service, quick response times and professional standard of accommodation it offers. By booking one of our properties, you are supporting a small family business – not a chain or international group.
Linda lives with her children (and various goats, ducks, ponies, dogs and cats) 2 miles from the Bunkhouse and are at hand at all times: from your initial enquiry, through to the booking, any special arrangements for your stay, extra services you may wish to add before or during your stay, all the way to welcoming you at your holiday home and seeing you off after a wonderful time making memories in Allendale.
